Great restaurant. Service was wonderful and food was exceptional. Popped in without a booking before going to the theatre and they accommodated us without issue.

Recommended by friends, I had a meal here with one of my friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried the Chicken Risotto from the specials board, while my friend ordered the Lasagna. They said it was the best lasagna they had ever tasted. The risotto was creamy and full of flavor. The service was fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff. For dessert, we shared the panna cotta and tiramisu, both of which were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Italian dining experience.

I've been staying in the London area for the last few weeks working on a project, but I currently live in Turkey. So I was delighted to encounter this fine Italian restaurant owned and managed by a Turkish family. Best of luck to them.

I made a mistake with my order. My meal was replaced without extra charge even though I offered to pay for my mistake.

Good Italian food at decent prices. We tried it out on our first evening, and the kids liked to so much that we returned a second time a few days later. We had different pasta dishes, pizza and gnocchi. All of them very good. Service was friendly and efficient, we did not have to wait long for our food.

Came here one evening before going to the cliffs. The restaurant was full, not an empty seat in the place but despite this the service was still 100%. The two waitresses were run off their feet but were smiling and happy the whole time.
The menu is quite compact but rather than doing a lot of things bad they do a little really good, the food was amazing.
As independent restaurants go this is one of the best I’ve been to, the prices are very fair also. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great place to eat.
Food was great, we had ordered a veggie pizza, garlic bread with cheese and a few drinks.
All the food came out in good time and served by great waiters.
Great food and service all round.
The 'outside' seating area is also great and cosy
Would recommend a visit for sure

Had a great pre-theatre meal, the waiters were lovely, we made a special request for cheesy pasta for one of our children which they were able to do. Portions are very generous and prices really reasonable, most pastas were under £10
Gnocchi verde was really tasty. Will always use this restaurant for pre-theatre meals going forward

I had the Gnocchi Bolognese and my sister had the Pizza Sardenara (Mozzarella, Anchovies, Olives). We also had 2 draught Morettis. We enjoyed everything very much. Very handy location next to the Cliffs Pavilion. My sister has already arranged for our family to eat there again.

Visited last night for a quick bite to eat before our show started at the cliffs pavilion at 8pm. Got in there around 7 and were out by quarter to 8. We were seriously impressed by the quality of the food and how good the service was (our waitress was really welcoming and friendly, despite being very busy!). Food was seriously tasty and very good value for money, two mains and a shared starter cost £23! Would recommend the gnocchi verde which was delicious, tasted really fresh and was cooked to perfection. The desserts looked really nice but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to order one. Would definitely go back and highly recommend to anybody looking for a lovely pre theatre meal!

Great restaurant for a pre or after Cliffs Pavilion show, or even for any other occasion. Have visited here several times now with different friends and family and it never fails to impress!
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, mainly pasta and pizza dishes, but they also have a good selection of starters and deserts.
The prices are also reasonable, have nothing but praise for the restaurant, I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Lovely place, was going to try the more traditional Southend Italian haunts and thought we'd give this place a try instead.
It was brilliant, something was on at the cliffs so it was busy and had a lovely buzz but the staff were super friendly and really nice with the children.
Food was lovely, we had a mix of pasta and pizza and the children really enjoyed the children's menu.
Price was really good too - will definitely be back, have seen they've just added a weatherproof outside area

Went for a pre theatre dinner. Excellent, food is tasty, good sized portions.
Staff very friendly.
Would advise booking as it gets really busy.
They take bookings for interval drinks if anyone wants them. Great idea!

The food that my partner and I were served was outstanding. By far some of the best italian food we have ever had. The pizza was full of flavour and of ample size. The carbonara was beautifully cooked and so very tasty. It was busy but they managed to find a table for us. The staff were very efficient and attentive. This will be our go to restaurant when we are in Southend. We will book a table next time as they fill up quickly. Thank you to all who made our meal special, its much appreciated.

We visited Bucatini after being unable to get a table at any of the "established" Italian restaurants above the arches. Staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly, the menu classic Italian pasta and pizza dishes, with gluten free options. Once the pre-theatre crowd left, the restaurant was quiet but cozy. The food was freshly prepared, the pasta perfectly cooked, the sauces simple but very tasty. The wine list was short, Italian and reasonably priced. All in all a great little find and we would definitely return.

What a little delight this was. The menu didn’t sing to me but we decided to find out more. The staff and service were very attentive polite and prompt. The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious, we thought at first it was simple and it turned out to be simply wonderful. Left a good tip because it was deserved. If you live in the area support this little gem so you don’t lose it.

My new favorite Italian restaurant! All the pizzas & pasta dishes our party had were super fresh, perfectly cooked & tasted amazing. In my opinion they have the best vegan pizza in the area; absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely be back!
